Some of you remember a picture similar to this from a previous post last summer, but it's the Twin Peaks Trail overlooking Eklutna Lake. We only made it half way up the mountain due to some icy conditions, but we were happy to make it this far to get the view. You'll notice there isn't much snow in Alaska this year.
We should have known the trail would be covered in ice considering our vehicle slid down a hill into the parking lot almost hitting a metal barrier as we were driving in:)
This makes descending the mountain a little faster:)
