Alaska being the perfect place to do photography, Pete will obviously continue to do freelancing part time, but also wanted a part time job in addition to photography especially during the winter months. He started the search shortly after we arrived in Alaska, and quickly got a couple interviews with 2 different businesses, a graphics company and a bank. Those two interviews turned into 5 interviews total with the same 2 businesses. Thankfully both places wanted him and he was able to choose the one with a more flexible schedule to allow time for photography.
He is now working as a teller at Wells Fargo. Something he never really thought he would be doing, but he's always been great at math, and has enjoyed the last couple weeks of orientation. He's already witnessed a scam, ran into Sarah Palin's niece, is enjoying the multiple free cups of coffee per day from the lobby, as well as the diverse group of co-workers.
This is the building he works at. Not quite as far of a commute as he had in Minneapolis which is nice.
